A wintry blast of cold thrusting deep into the South will bring rare earlyspring snow to a few Southern states. Southern cities most likely to see atleast a shower of wet snow will be; Nashville, Knoxville and Chattanooga,Tennessee. A few snow flurries will reach into northern Alabama and northernGeorgia, so sightings of snowflakes will be possible to at least Atlanta. Themost likely time for sighting snow in the most southerly locations will be onMonday night. On the whole, there will be little more from this snow than visible impact, maybe a whitening of the grass. Not so along the Appalachian ridges, however,as there may be several inches of snow through Tuesday over highlands of WestVirginia to western North Carolina.
