Wolfe, Jill Jones age 67, of Fridley, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at her Fridley home. Jill Conleth Jones was born October 18, 1949 in Fargo, the daughter of Donald Jones and Sarah Jones (nee Burger) Smalley. She was a 1967 graduate of Perham High School, where she worked at her stepfath-er's newspaper, Perham Enterprise-Bulletin, and attended Hamline University. She was united in marriage in 1971 in a Baha'i Faith ceremony in Bombay, India to Raymond L Novotny. Jill was a wonderful homemaker in Anoka for 22 years. She operated a craft and art studio at home for many of those years. Jill was the "neighborhood caretaker" while raising her 5 children in Anoka. She operated a bakery for 15 years in St Paul and remarried to husband Steven Wolfe in 1994. Jill enjoyed cooking Indian food, baking, gardening, reading, painting shirts and jewelry crafting. Jill was a wonderful spouse, mother and friend that cared much for those around her her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew her. Jill is survived by her first husband Raymond L Novotny; brothers, Jared (Donna) Smalley, Steve (Jane) Smalley; sister Sarah (Tim) Kimmes; children, Katie (Ebba) Novotny, Liz (Graham) Novotny, Gabe (Lydia) Novotny, Darren (Amy) Novotny and Michael (Brian) Novotny; grandchildren, Moti, Isaiah, Ruth, Ophelia, Helen and Hyland; husband Steven Wolfe and their two loving dogs: Molly and Missy. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; Donald Jones and Sarah Jones (nee Burger) Smalley, stepfather Harvey Smalley, brother David Jones and nephew Charles Jones. Memorial Service will be held on July 8 from 4-7 PM at 2101 3rd St NE, Minneapolis.
