Lindquist, Russell James Russell passed away unexpectedly at his home in Jensen Beach, Florida. He grew up in Minnesota & lived the life of a typical Minnesotan - spending time at the family cabin & participating in many outdoor recreational sports. From a young age, he excelled at soccer, snow-boarding, boating, water sports & all kinds of fishing, as well as snowmobiling & golf. Russell also enjoyed spending time with his family & many friends who loved him for his positive attitude, generosity, & kind heart. Russell graduated from Wayzata High School in 1989 & attended the University of Minnesota where he studied Business & was a Pi Kappa Alpha. He graduated with honors in 1994 from the University of St. Thomas with a BA in Business Administration. In his professional career, Russell excelled in his job at Salesforce as a successful Strategic Account Executive, Healthcare Marketing. Russell lived life to the fullest & enjoyed his time in Minnesota - from Cross Lake to Lake Minnetonka & in Minnetrista where he had resided with his wife, beagles, & cat for many years. They purchased a home in Florida & became snowbirds for a few years before becoming full time Florida residents in 2022. Russell was passionate about the Florida lifestyle & it was there where he finally got his 1st hole-in-one on the golf course at the Ocean Club. Russell was preceded in death by his father James Lindquist (1986). Survived by his wife of 24 years, Maureen (Lalevée), Teddy the beagle, mother Leanna (Keith) Erickson, brother Eric (Kristin) Lindquist, and nephews Martin and Sam. Service and visitation will both be held on Friday June 7, 2024 from 11:00 am-1:00pm at St Martin's By the Lake Church, 2801 Westwood Rd, Minnetonka Beach, MN 55361. Memorial gifts can be sent to The Animal Humane Society of Golden Valley & or Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation.
