A graduate of the University of Missouri's School of Journalism, Forgrave's career has spanned the gamut, from a national sportswriter and national magazine writer to chronicler of small-town stories in Iowa and the Mississippi Delta. Prior to the Star Tribune, Forgrave worked at CBSSports.com and CBS Sports HQ and FOXSports.com and Fox Sports 1. He's worked for several newspapers around the country, most recently The Des Moines Register, and has written long-form stories for The New York Times Magazine, GQ and Sports Illustrated, among others. His first book, based on a piece he wrote for GQ, was published in 2020. He lives in Minneapolis with his wife and two children.

Foster started at the Star Tribune before he completed his journalism degree at the University of Minnesota and has been here ever since, mainly in the Minneapolis office but with a two-year stint in the St. Paul bureau. he spent 19 years in the Business section and the last four in the graphics department, doing graphics for print as well as online.

Fuller joined the Star Tribune in 2016 after 11 years covering Gophers sports – and just about every other team and league in town -- for the St. Paul Pioneer Press. Before making the Twin Cities his home, he spent two years in The Kansas City Star sports department. Fuller grew up in Hawaii and is a 2002 graduate of San Jose State.

Furst has spent most of his 45-year career at The Minneapolis Star and later at the combined Star Tribune as a general assignment reporter. He has been nominated four times for the Pulitzer Prize (a series on the condition of migrant workers; questions regarding the innocence of two black men convicted of rape; the arrest of three Northwest Airline pilots for drinking and flying; and the exposure of a rogue Metro Gang Strike Force, which was forced to disband) and was a finalist twice.

Galioto was born and raised in the Twin Cities' southwest suburbs. She was an intern at the Star Tribune in 2018 after she graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in political science. She reported as an intern for the Chicago Tribune and POLITICO before returning to her hometown paper full-time. She enjoys traveling, good music, good restaurants and her good dog, Tucker.

Scott Gillespie

Gillespie has been editorial page editor since 2007. He was the lead editor on "Separate and Unequal," the series of editorials on underfunded Bureau of Indian Education schools that was a finalist for a 2015 Pulitzer Prize. Before joining Editorial, Gillespie was managing editor at the Star Tribune, responsible for the day-to-day operations of the newsroom. During his five-year tenure in that role, the news staff produced awarding-winning coverage on the death of Paul Wellstone, the war in Iraq and the collapse of the I-35W Bridge. Before being named managing editor, Gillespie served as the paper's assistant managing editor for local news and assistant managing editor for business news. He has more than 30 years of news reporting and editing experience at newspapers in Wisconsin and Minnesota. He served as a Pulitzer Prize juror in 2004, 2005, 2011 and 2012. Gillespie has a bachelor's degree in journalism and political science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has been an adjunct faculty member in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Minnesota.
