THE WNBA DRAFT
When: 6 p.m. Thursday
TV: ESPN2 for the first hour, with coverage through the first round. ESPNU will cover the second and third rounds starting at 7 p.m.
The first round: San Antonio has the top overall pick. And, thanks to a trade with Phoenix, the Stars also have the fifth overall pick. Chicago has the second pick, thanks to a trade that sent Elena Delle Donne to Washington. Dallas has three of the top 10 picks, its own No. 3 pick, the No. 4 and 10 because of trades with Los Angeles and New York, respectively.
Likely top pick: The consensus is the Stars will take Washington guard Kelsey Plum.
The Lynx: Minnesota has the final pick in each of the three rounds, No. 12 overall, No. 24 and No. 36.
