MARCH 25

Animal complaint. A deputy observed an injured dog on the roadside in the 16000 block of Jeffrey Avenue and returned it to its owner. The owner was aware of the injury and had taken the dog to the vet.

APRIL 14

Suspicious activity. An officer responded to a report of a person possibly stealing golf clubs at Pioneer Creek Golf Course, 705 Copeland Rd. The officer determined it was a person delivering water softener salt.

APRIL 2

Child found. An officer was flagged down by a woman who had found a 3-year-old girl near Sunset Drive and Riverside Lane. A short time later, the girl's mother reported her missing. The mother did not know her child had left. The girl was safely returned home.

MARCH 23

Suspicious person. Authorities determined a man at a construction site in the 600 block of June Avenue at 2:30 a.m. was a contractor who could not sleep and decided to start working.

MARCH 27

Suspicious person. A man was reported wearing a bullet-resistant vest in the area of Quant Avenue and 1st Street. The man explained to authorities it was a weighted vest.

LAKEVILLE

WEEK OF APRIL 11-17

Theft. A 36-year-old man was arrested for theft at Fleet Farm, 17070 Kenrick Av. He took a BB gun pistol and concealed it in his waistband before leaving the store. He told officers he was planning to hunt squirrels.

Drugs. Officers responded to a report of two people using drugs in a vehicle in the 19000 block of Juno Trail. A 42-year-old woman and a 45-year-old man were arrested for possession of prescription pills, marijuana, cocaine and methamphetamines.

APRIL 10

Suspicious activity. An officer responded to a report of suspicious activity at a home in the 9400 block of Ranchview Lane. An unknown male had entered the home while the homeowners were present. The man stated he had the wrong address for relatives he was going to visit.

MAPLEWOOD

APRIL 3

Assist fire agency. A person on the scene of a grass fire in the area of White Bear and Gervais avenues admitted to flicking away a cigarette that started the fire. The fire was extinguished without any damage to surrounding buildings.

APRIL 4

Recovered property. Residents in the 1700 block of Sylvan Street reported finding a chain saw under a pine tree near their home.

MARCH 16

Animal complaint. An officer responded to a report of a llama running loose in the 6300 block of 167th Avenue NW. The officer checked the area but was unable to locate the llama.

MARCH 18

Check welfare. Officers responded to a report of an open 911 call at a home in the 16000 block of St. Andrews Lane NW. It was found that a 14-year-old girl accidentally dialed 911 while making a TikTok video.

APRIL 27

Obstructing the legal process. An officer responded to a report of a man refusing to leave the vestibule at City Hall, 6700 Portland Av. S. The 77-year-old man refused to leave and was arrested for obstructing the legal process.

Underage consumption. A 17-year-old girl was cited for underage consumption of alcohol at Sapphire Lane and Vierling Drive.
