Troy Merritt finished his first Masters at 11 over but figures he deserves some kind of an award.

"I think they should give us a green jacket just because we didn't have any three-putts,'' Merritt said. "That's hard to do here, I hear.''

Merritt attended Spring Lake Park High and Winona State before transferring to Boise State. He lives in Meridian, Idaho, with his family.

Merritt, 30, had two immediate plans after shooting a 75 on Sunday: getting his family back to Idaho and building a game that will get him back to the Masters.

"I'd love to play here every year,'' he said. "I know I have to work really hard to achieve that. That will be my goal going forward. I don't want to miss this one anymore.

"Great atmosphere, a lot of fun, an awesome golf course, very hard, very fair, and you can really use your imagination.''
