Bob Dylan hasn't exactly been idle during the pandemic. He dropped the terrific album "Rough and Rowdy Ways" in June 2020. Then last month he celebrated his 80th birthday. We don't know if he actually blew out candles, but it was a milestone.

Now comes the announcement of a streaming concert next month, Dylan's first performance since December 2019, when COVID curtailed his Never Ending Tour, which began in 1988.

Billed as "Shadow Kingdom," the show will be performed in an "intimate setting," according to a news release. The concert will premiere at 4 p.m. July 18 and be available for 48 hours thereafter on Veeps, a livestreaming platform founded in 2017 by Benji and Joel Madden of the band Good Charlotte. Tickets cost $25 at bobdylan.veeps.com.
