Most memorable moment as a high school athlete? The amazing feeling after my first cross-country race. I love the satisfaction that comes from finishing a race.

First basketball memory? Playing in a league at the YMCA and having to stop the game about every 30 seconds because someone would travel or go out of bounds. Games took a long time in third grade.

Three things that you couldn't play without: My pregame piece of gum (Stride Winterblue), my usual Jimmy John's sandwich and my ankle braces.

Strangest thing experienced during a game? We played a team once that started dancing on the court after a time out. It was pretty weird.

What is special about playing for St. Croix Prep? My absolute favorite part is when we have home games and the guys' team comes to cheer. They are all really supportive and give great advice.

Most prized basketball possession? The sweatpants that one of my teammates gave to all the girls.

Favorite part of a game: Rebounding. It's something that anyone can be good at as long as they put effort into it.

One small tip before a big game: Always be the one to run for a loose ball, even if it's not going to go to your team. The refs appreciate little things like that and it keeps the game going.

If you weren't playing basketball ...? I'd be taking cello lessons.
