Western Montana, northwestern Wyoming and Alberta, Canada, all hadaccumulating snow Tuesday. Some of the higher elevations of western Montana andsouthern Alberta will have up to 18 inches of snow by the time the storm'swinds down Wednesday.The spring snowstorm caused difficult travel over the mountain passesTuesday, but roads have been mainly wet at lower elevations. Slippery travelwill become more widespread Tuesday night however, after the sun effect hasbeen eliminated.
