Cramer, Gregory D. Age 75, born November 4, 1947 Des Moines, passed away March 11, 2023 after a long illness. Preceded in death were his parents, Clyde and Roberta Cramer. Greg leaves behind his wife of 53 years Elizabeth; his children, Stewart (Rainbow) Cramer, Stephanie (Monty) Maitland; his four grandchildren, Heather, Austin, Chance Cramer and Maxwell Maitland; sister in-law, Jeanne Fangman and husband, Paul; nieces, Elizabeth Phillips and Kathryn Fangman. After graduating from the University of Nebraska-Kearney, he married Elizabeth. Greg began his career with Western Electric which led to a transfer to Northwestern Bell in 1974. Until his retirement in 1999, he held many positions: Sales, Human Resources and Information Systems. Greg loved riding his Harley on both long & short trips. He also enjoyed time spent on his boat on Lake Minnetonka and Lake Vermillion. His main passion was his children and spending time with them. He was their most avid basketball fan and videotaped most games all through their school years. Greg, aka Santa, would don his Santa suit each year bringing Christmas gifts to his beloved grandchildren. Honoring Greg's wishes, a time for sharing memories with family and friends will take place at David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 East Wayzata Blvd, Wayzata, MN 55391, Friday, March 31 at 11:00. Gratitude goes to Struthers Parkinson's Center for over 25 years of Greg's care and guidance, The Waters Senior Living - Plymouth and his physicians Doctors Martha Nance and Mary Miley.
