Irwin, Kermit 97 years old, born 4/7/23 died 1/6/21 of natural causes. He was a long-time resident of the Isanti/St. Francis area and had retired from Federal Cartridge in Anoka. Kermit's last job at Federal was as Supervisor of the Experimental Department, and he talked about how much he enjoyed his job for years afterward. Able to fix most anything that was motorized, many neighbors and friends brought things to him to repair. Kerm enjoyed his life in rural Isanti, and the many friends who came to share the hospitality provided by both Kermit and Irma, his wife of 54 years. He is survived by one sister, Joyce Williams, two children Don Irwin and Pat Swanson, four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Irma, and seven brothers and sisters. A memorial service, graveside, will be done in the spring.
