He is survived by his brother Timothy Aaser (Wanda), Ramsey MN; twin brother Daniel Aaser, Osakis MN; sister Margaret Jones (Roger), Columbia Heights MN; nieces Corrie Libby, Angela Heikkila, Anne Fairchild, Rebecca Jones and nephew Joseph Aaser. The family would like to thank all the members at the Cedarwood Residence for the excellent care that they provided to Doug for the past 27 years and the adult day care program at Open Circle in Hopkins MN for the great care Doug received there for many years. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Hammer Headquarters, 1909 Wayzata Blvd., Wayzata MN, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Please feel free to wear your favorite MN Twin's shirt. The family request that memorials be given to Hammer in Doug's name.
