A severe Nor'easter attacking the East with paralyzing snow will also pound itsshores with high wind and wave.From Maryland and Delaware to Long Island and much of New England, beacherosion and tidal flooding will occur as the instigating Nor'easter tracknortheastward from the Delmarva to seas southof Cape Cod.

Winds to 60 mph will heap up waves to 20 feet over open seas. These will thenpound beaches and coastal structures threatening further damage.

Piling up of water against the coast, timed near the New Moon, will lead tounusually high tides and some coastal flooding.

These serious coastal impacts will ease to the south and west overnight andearly Sunday. But they will last through Sunday in eastern New England.
