A 38-year-old Vermillion man is dead after crashing his motorcycle in Vermillion township just after midnight Saturday, the Dakota County Sheriff's Office said Sunday.
The man, whose name has not been released, was killed when he drove off the road on a curve and into a field, Sgt. Matt Schuster said.
The man was declared dead at the scene, Schuster said. He was alone on the motorcycle.
The crash is under investigation.
