Shane Wiskus won the floor exercise title and made the podium in four other events Sunday at the Winter Cup, capping a strong performance at the gymnastics meet in Indianapolis.

The Gophers senior from Spring Park was second on parallel bars and high bar, and he tied for third on rings and vault. Wiskus, who finished fourth in the all-around competition Friday, had the highest two-day total score in the field. His Sunday scores topped his Friday efforts in four of six events.

"It was a lot better today," Wiskus told the Associated Press. "So honestly, my whole mentality for this weekend was to just get back out there competing and get my footing into this quad."

Wiskus was named to the U.S. senior national team following the meet.

Gophers sophomore Crew Bold finished fourth on high bar, and junior Mike Moran tied for sixth in the floor.

The women's competition officially ended Sunday, as a second group of gymnasts competed after Saturday's session for the top performers. Suni Lee of St. Paul won the uneven bars title with a score of 15.050, the highest score by any woman at the meet. Lee, who competed Saturday, also was third on balance beam.
