A passenger in a car that collided with a semitrailer truck on a central Minnesota highway has died, authorities said Monday.
The crash occurred late in the morning last Wednesday on Hwy. 371 near the Brainerd Lakes Area Welcome Center, the State Patrol said.
Colleen M. Epeneter, 69, of Backus, Minn., was identified by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office as the person who was killed.
Epeneter was airlifted to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale and died there Saturday.
Brenda Epeneter, 41, of Bemidji, and the truck driver, 41-year-old Gabriel J. Rybaski, of Pierz, survived.
