MINNEAPOLIS — Wayzata, Blake and Bethlehem Academy have won the Minnesota State High School League's 2012-13 school year competition, based on finishes in section and state tournaments in fine arts and athletics.

The MSHSL announced the results Tuesday.

Blake, the private school in Hopkins, was the Class 2A champion for the fifth time in 10 years. Wayzata was the winner in Class 3A for a second time. Bethlehem Academy, located in Faribault, took the Class 1A honor for the first time.

Bethlehem Academy won the girls volleyball tournament. Blake won titles in girls lacrosse, girls hockey, boys Alpine skiing and girls and boys tennis. Wayzata, which ended a five-year hold on the award by rival Eden Prairie, won championships in girls Nordic skiing, girls soccer, boys tennis and girls cross country.
