Orioles update

Baltimore (10-16) was swept by the Twins in a three-game series last weekend at Camden Yards, and the three starting pitching matchups are identical, too. Cobb gave up nine earned runs on 10 hits in only 1⅔ innings his appearance in that series, in Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader. Straily pitched in Game 1, giving up three runs in five innings. He was released by the Marlins at the end of spring training and the Orioles signed him April 5 and plopped him into their rotation. … Baltimore is last in the AL in team ERA (6.03) and home runs allowed (59). … LF Trey Mancini is eighth in the AL with a .337 batting average and leads the team with six home runs. … RHP Andrew Kashner (4-1) is tied for the AL lead in victories, but won't get a start in this series.

Twins update

The Twins (13-9) are second in the AL in batting average (.267) and third in slugging percentage (.493). … Berrios is making his sixth start of 2019, and the Twins are 4-1 when he starts. … SS Jorge Polanco leads the AL in slugging percentage (.695), is second in OPS (1.119) and third in batting average (.366). … LF Eddie Rosario is tied for the league lead in home runs (10) and is second in RBI (23). … The Twins will add a pitcher Friday to replace Kohl Stewart, who was sent back to Class AAA Rochester after losing Wednesday at Houston. It's likely to be RHP Matt Magill, who pitched in 40 games for the Twins last year and has a 1.69 ERA in five games on a rehab assignment at Rochester. … LHP Gabriel Moya was activated from the injured list and optioned to Rochester on Wednesday.
