Sue Campbell is the managing editor for features. Her teams cover lifestyle, arts & entertainment, food & drink, home & garden, travel and books. Sue also edits the quarterly Star Tribune magazine. 


Campbell has been a digital and print journalist for 25 years. She spent 20 years at the St. Paul Pioneer Press as a features and projects editor, ultimately moving to the Metro team, where she led the paper's coverage of courts, crime, communities and politics. Outside of newspapers, she was the editorial director for PBS/Next Avenue, a national digital project. She started her career as a magazine writer, and holds an M.F.A. in nonfiction writing. For 15 years, she lived on 13 acres in Scandia, Minnesota, where she raised chickens -- and three children. She recently returned to city living.
