A second person has died of injuries suffered in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday in Crow Wing County.

Timothy D. Kruse, 54, of Crosby, Minn., died Thursday at HCMC in Minneapolis, according to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office.

Barbara Jo Blood, 70, of Crosby, died at the scene of the crash, which happened just after 7 a.m. on Hwy. 6 near Black Lake Road in Deerwood Township.

Blood was driving a 2009 Chrysler 300 east on Hwy. 6 when a westbound 2006 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Kruse crossed the centerline and struck her car head-on, according to the State Patrol.

Alcohol was not a factor, but neither driver was wearing a seat belt, the patrol said.

Authorities also reported a fatal crash Tuesday in Isanti County that involved a driver crossing a centerline.

The collision occurred about 6:20 p.m. on County Road 8 just west of NW. Zuni Street in Stanford Township, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Kelsie M. Timm, 26, of Zimmerman, Minn., died in the crash. The other driver, 22-year-old Matthew J. Foss, of Hampton, was evaluated at a nearby hospital and released.

Timm was heading east on County Road 8 about 5 miles north of St. Francis, Minn., strayed into the opposite lane and hit Foss' vehicle, the Sheriff's Office said.
