Three people were injured, one critically, in a two-vehicle crash late Friday in north Minneapolis.
A car headed east on Plymouth Avenue N. and an SUV headed south on Lyndale Avenue N. collided in the intersection at 9:25 p.m., police said. The car then veered off the road and struck a large electrical box, knocking out electricity in the area for several hours.
Three people from the vehicles were taken to Hennepin County Medical Center. One was critically injured.
Alcohol, speed and failure to yield on the part of one of the vehicles may have contributed to the crash, police said.
