Adams, Robert "Bubba" L. Bubba, age 86 of New Brighton, passed away January 13, 2020. Bubba grew up in Northeast Mpls & spent his entire life nearby. He owned a store on West Broadway, B&B Closeouts, for more than 20 years and enjoyed socializing with his friends at local bars and restaurants in Northeast. He was married to his loving wife, Elsie, for 60 years. They shared a passion for their family and spent their time cheering on Minnesota sports teams. Bubba always had a story to tell and enjoyed making people laugh. He will be greatly missed by many. He is preceded in death by parents Joseph and Alma Adams, daughter Debra and brothers Joe, Bill, Dick and Norman. He is survived by wife, Elsie; son, Robert (Cheryl) Adams; daughter Barb (Brooks) Staples; Grandchildren, Ashley, Cody, Angela (Ian) and Carissa; and great grandson, Elijah.
