Rotenberg, Robert "Bob", M.D. of Las Vegas, Nevada, formerly of Minneapolis, Minnesota, peacefully passed away December 5, 2019 at home with his family at the age of 95. He was preceded in death by parents Gussie and Morris, sisters Gloria Joseph and Florence Hoffman, and brothers David and Max. He is survived by his sons Mitchell (Debra Strehlow) and Daniel, granddaughter Olivia, sister Shirley Latts, brother Samuel and many loving nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the many caregivers and medical professionals for all their loving care over the years. Bob was a proud and patriotic army veteran who served overseas in World War II in the Indian subcontinent. After his tour of military duty ended, he attended the University of Minnesota for undergraduate education, medical school and subsequently a master's degree in business administration. As a family practice physician, he established the McNair Medical Clinic in north Minneapolis. Robert served as Chief of Staff at North Memorial Medical Center and held a Department of Family Practice clinical teaching appointment at the University of Minnesota medical school. Bob enjoyed biking, fishing trips with extended family, Minnesota sports teams, travel, reading, spending time with family, attending his granddaughter's sports and her other school activities. Services will be held Wednesday, December 11 at 10:15 AM at Adath Chesed Shel Emes Cemetery, 3740 Winnetka Ave N. Crystal, MN 55427. A gathering of family and friends will follow at noon at the Oak Ridge Country Club, 700 Oak Ridge Road, Hopkins, MN.
