The Twins made two other trades near the 2018 deadline, in addition to the deals for Brian Dozier, Eduardo Escobar and Ryan Pressly that brought a collection of prospects.
The trades both came on July 30:
Starting pitcher Lance Lynn was sent to the New York Yankees for first baseman Tyler Austin and Luis Rijo, a rookie ball pitcher. Austin remains in camp with the Twins.
Reliever Zach Duke was sent to Seattle for righthanded pitcher Chase DeJong and first baseman Ryan Costello. DeJong cleared waivers in February and was assigned to the Class AAA Rochester Red Wings.
