Seattle – The Lynx held the Seattle Storm to 22 second-half points — 11 in each quarter — to rally from 18 points down in a 76-73 victory Thursday night at KeyArena.

The Lynx (6-2) finished on a 37-9 run for the biggest road comeback in team history and the third biggest overall.

Seimone Augustus led all scorers with 24 points, but it was reserve center Damiris Dantas who put the Lynx ahead 73-72 with a three-point play with 18 seconds remaining. The Lynx hadn't led since scoring the first two points of the game.

Augustus added two free throws after Seattle lost the ball out of bounds. Sue Bird's half-court heave at the buzzer hit the backboard.

Dantis, coming off a 15-point, six-rebound game against Tulsa, finished with 10 points and six rebounds. Five of those points came in the final minute.

The Lynx struggled early against a Storm team whose only two wins this season are against winless Los Angeles. They gave up 32 first-quarter points, and when Bird hit a jumper with just under six minutes to go in the second quarter, Seattle led 43-25.

Augustus

Jenna O'Hea led Seattle with 17 points, hitting on three of six three-point attempts. Bird had 16 points (13 in the first half), four rebounds and five assists. Crystal Langhorne, the Storm's leading scorer, had only four points.

Augustus moved past Chamique Holdsclaw for 16th place on the WNBA's career scoring list.
