Looking to bounce back on road

Preview: The two teams are meeting for the third time in 12 days. The Lynx beat the Dream 90-80 in Atlanta on July 28 and 69-54 at Xcel Energy Center on Thursday. The Lynx (20-3) are coming off an 84-82 loss at Indiana on Sunday, a defeat that ended their seven-game winning streak and dropped them to 9-2 on the road this season. Atlanta is coming off a 91-86 loss in Chicago on Saturday. It was the fourth consecutive loss for the Dream (10-15), which is tied with Seattle for the WNBA's eighth and final playoff spot. The Lynx have won the past eight regular-season meetings between the teams.

Players to watch: Lynx F Maya Moore scored a season-high 28 points against Indiana on Sunday. Moore, who is averaging 17.1 points per game, was 10-for-10 from the free throw line. Lynx G Seimone Augustus returned to the lineup after a two-game absence for personal reasons and scored 16 points. Lynx F Rebekkah Brunson had 15 points and 12 rebounds, her second double-double of the season. Dream G Tiffany Hayes, in her sixth season, is averaging a career-high 16.6 points per game. Atlanta G Brittney Sykes, the WNBA rookie of the month for July, is averaging 12.2 and 3.9 assists per game.

Numbers: Lynx C Sylvia Fowles was held to a season-low six points in the loss to Indiana, the first time this season Fowles hadn't scored at least 10. She played only 20 minutes because of foul trouble.

Injuries: Lynx G Lindsay Whalen (hand) is out indefinitely.
