Keita Bates-Diop scored a team-high 16 points but the Timberwolves were eliminated from the Las Vegas Summer League tournament by the Detroit Pistons 64-59 on Wednesday night.

The Wolves trailed 36-17 at halftime before rallying in the third quarter and taking a brief lead in the fourth. They finished the Summer League with a 2-2 record.

Bates-Diop went just 1-for-9 from three-point range as Minnesota finished 2-for-25 from beyond the arc. Josh Okogie missed all four of his three-point attempts and finished 3-for-9 shooting for seven points but did add four blocks and two steals.

Amile Jefferson continued his strong play with 15 rebounds and six points. The two teams combined to shoot 51-for-149 from the field and 8-for-50 from three.
